In Rainbows

Huzzah for Radiohead! The English rock band formed all the way back in '86 have finally released their new album after Hail to the Thief was released back in 2003. What have they come up with in their 4 year break? An album that many critics say rival Radiohead's best work OK Computer, which was one of the most widely acclaimed albums way back when.

And after finally finishing their 6 album contract with EMI, they've decided to do something pretty damn cool. They're letting you pay whatever you want; that is, however much you think they deserve. Up till now, around 62% paid nothing (me included) for this new album; but with downloads already exceeding 1 million and ALL the money going straight to the band's pockets instead of a record company, they must be pretty happy with themselves. Radiohead must be filthy rich anyways.

You can get the album digitally on http://www.inrainbows.com/. Right now the song stuck in my head is this one. It reminds me of fancy swimming pools and colorful fishes.

I like!! Cool idea although I still feel slightly guilty for downloading a whole album without paying anything for it.
